From 21 to 24 October 2007, Lieutenant General Patrick Nash, EU Operation Commander went in Tchad for a recce mission. With the future EU Force Commander on the theatre of operation, Jean-Philippe Ganascia, he met some Chadian authorities. They went in the East of Chad, in Abéché, Goz Beïda and Iriba.They achieve their trip with a visit to Bangui and Birao in Central African Republic.
